The 61st Annual Grammy Awards will air on Sunday, February 10th, 2019 and will feature a variety of the year’s most prominent and hottest artists from 2019, as well as many artists that we can expect to see more of in 2019. Some of the hardest-hitters at this year’s Grammy’s are those who had highlight years in 2018 will be celebrated on this televised program this this coming Sunday night.
What Artists Are Up For Nominations at the 2019 Annual Grammy Awards?
Some of the artists in the running for one (or multiple) of the categories on the 2019 show include Brandi Carlile, Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Protoje, Travis Scott, or Katy Perry to name a few. Many of these same artists will also be performing live at the Grammy Awards event.
There are many newer faces at the 2019 Grammy Awards. A few of them are:
Ariana Grande, who could receive her first Grammy as she has been nominated for both Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Cardi B who could see her first Grammy Award as she’s been nominated for 5 different Grammy’s categories, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Album.
Demi Lovato could see her first Grammy award for one of two categories she was nominated for: Best Pop Duo and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Mac Miller could win her first Grammy by capturing the Best Album category.
Fall Out Boy could win their first Grammy for a nomination in Best Rock Album.
Florida/Georgia Line could win their first Award for a nomination as Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
Future could win a first Grammy as he has been nominated for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song.
Shawn Mendes could take home his first Awards in the categories of Song of the Year or Best Pop Vocal Album.
SZA could take home their first Grammy for 4 different nominations including: Record of the Year, Star of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Performance, and Best Song Written for Visual Media.
