You will not want to miss the excitement that surrounds the MTV 2019 Video Music Awards (VMAs). The VMAs will air on Monday, August 26th. From the red carpet to the broadcast awards event it’s a must-see for many reasons! The performances, nominees, show host – comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, and the viewer votes make this one of the best award shows of the year.
The 2019 Nominees
There are many great musicians hoping to take home a win this year at the VMAs. Some artists have multiple nominations, including Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift (who are tied for the most with 10 nominations). Billie Eilish follows close behind with 9 nominations and Lil Nas X has 8.

The 2019 VMAs Host
Comedian and author, Sebastian Maniscalco, will be hosting this year’s awards. Maniscalco was the winner of Billboard’s 2018 Comedian of the Year Award. He is also an actor and is sure to bring his own style and laughs to the 2019 VMAs.
