Having trouble thinking of someone to headline your all-day speaking event? Make them laugh! Comedians can take any corporate event from dull to remarkable. They are excellent at communicating with an audience – that’s their job. Here are some of the favorites we’ve worked with over the years:
Billy Gardell
Gardell is mostly known for being on the show “Mike & Molly”, though he has continued to have a strong career after it ended. Besides doing stand-up, he’s appeared on TV shows like “Young Sheldon.” He would most definitely have your audience rolling on the floor with stories about working on “Bad Santa” with Billy Bob Thornton.
Frank Caliendo
Caliendo is a chameleon – he can take on the guise of nearly anyone and do a flawless imitation of them. He was a longtime fixture on NFL pregame shows, where he often took on the personas of people like Jon Gruden. Caliendo doesn’t cross any lines though – while he may be poking fun at his subjects, he also imbues them with a humanity that keeps it from being just a cartoonish take. You’ll wind up roaring with laughter at whatever he comes up with.
Dennis Miller
Miller is a thinking person’s comedian. Beloved in conservative circles, he loves to pepper his insights with esoteric references. He was a fixture on Saturday Night Live in the 1980s, skewering the world around him during his stint on Weekend Update. After that, he had a stint on Monday Night Football as the third announcer in a crew that featured Al Michaels and Dan Dierdorf. You might not always agree with what he says, but he’ll leave you pondering things.
Kevin Pollak
If you look at Pollak, you might think he looks familiar. That’s because he played Tom Cruise’s friend in “A Few Good Men” and also was in “The Usual Suspects”, though being with a cast like Kevin Spacey, Benicio Del Toro, and others, it might be hard to remember him. Pollak has continued a strong career, appearing in both movies and television shows and stand-up.
Kevin Nealon
Nealon, a longtime veteran of the stand-up comedy circuit, is another Saturday Night Live alumnus who also spent time behind the Weekend Update news desk. Nealon looks like the goofy neighbor next door. He’s particularly good at observational humor and he loves audience interaction – though he might good-naturedly needle someone in the front row.
