As the premier Classical/Contemporary crossover piano and harp trio in the SF Bay Area, Amethyst is one-of a-kind, rocking everything from Beethoven to Coldplay. The sound of harp, violin and cello is gentle and lovely. As a piano trio, the group provides both beautiful Classical and lively pop/rock & jazz styles.  This unique blend of instruments and authentic styles, plus the improvisation expertise of its players is what makes this group stand out.  All the instruments have pickups for amplification. Keyboard and sound equipment provided when needed.
