Event: International Pow Wow Gala

Scope:  For this project we were asked to partner with other industry professionals to produce a final night gala celebration, creating a feeling, an experience and an event that is possible “Only In San Francisco”! The event consisted a block party in front of the majestic City Hall / Civic Center Plaza, use of three different venues within the building and a tent outside in Civic Center Plaza (across the street.) With six stages of entertainment and a cast of almost 200 performers, our role was to procure and produce talent, including but not limited to secure talent sponsorships, manage talent check-in, talent hospitality and stage management. Entertainment included Walk arounds roving entertainment, stationary Interactive & ambient entertainment (henna, airbrush tattoo, body art, hair bling,) several strolling musical acts, 7 Bands (Club 90, Encore, Pop Fiction, Electric Headband, Pepperspray, Mandonna, Dick Bright Trio), DJs, strolling magic & stage show, Acapella troupe, drag performers and dancers of all sorts (hip hop, break dancers, go-go, and burlesque)
